Improvements to the Shipping Label Tool

Hi everyone!

There are some exciting new changes coming in the next few weeks and months!

We are replacing our current shipping label tool for another that can save you time and money.

Over the next few weeks, PayPal will be directing customers to a new and improved tool for creating shipping labels.

The new PayPal tool is powered by eBay and very similar to the current one, but it is easier to use and comes with added advantages, including extra service options, and USPS shipping rates that are up to 32.5% less than what you pay now.  You can read all about the benefits in the new tool’s FAQs

What Do I Need to Do?

Nothing right now.  Just be aware that starting March 27, 2012, when you go to create a shipping label, you may be automatically directed to use the new PayPal tool.

How Does the Shipping Label Tool Work?

Working with the new tool should be easy and very similar to the one you use now.  If you do need help, these FAQs, demos, and tutorials are right there to walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

I'm really looking forward to the upcoming improvements! If you have any questions that aren't covered in the resources linked above, please feel free to post them here. 🙂

I tried going into paypal rather than multi shipping to reprint my label and now it is saying, "connection reset" (I use firefoxe) and once it said that USPS shipping was not working and to try again later.

I am having the same problem with trying t o reprint postage purchased within the last 24 hours - connection reset.

If the postage had printed correctly the first time, I wouldn't care about this problem - but it didn't.

Here is what I would like

1) The ability to reprint the postage immediately.

or

2) An immediate refund as you have not given me what I purchased.

Perhaps I should open a case with Ebay and they will take your top seller status away???

Hey Paypal MOS, I like it when my vendors buy me dinner before they try to screw me.

I am having the same problem as you. I tried to print 21 labels, the first 4 printied properly, and then the rest were blank and "missing images". Reprinting doesn't work either. I called Paypal and the girl said many people have been calling this issue in. So its not just us. I hope they fix it soon so I don't have to void all those labels.

Please post a fix if anyone knows one or figures one out.

Thank you!

Wow I'm so glad I'm not the only one having this issue. I just spent 3 hours trying to figure it out before I saw the above posts.

I too get the connection rest error.

Would be nice is paypal had a service bulletin with known possible issues on the log in page so I didn't waste all my darn time thinking it was something on my end.

Please let us know when this is fixed. I need these labels printed ASAP!!!

The worst part is no one is jumping on here to even say they are fixing the issue. Killer customer support.

PAYPAL **bleep**!!! I would be so done with them if 99% of my customers would pay me another way!!!

This is just utter ridiculousness that they can not fix this issue! I just 30 mins voiding labels, emailing my customers and then printing out new labels! My acct is now down $21 and have to wait for USPS to refund me for the voided labels!

Ive just HAD IT! 😞

I've been fed up for the last 3 weeks. I've called a number of times and they very nicely say they are working on it. Gee how long are they going to work on it? For awhile I printed each individually having to sign in each time to print, then I finally went to Ebay and printed from my sold page, then I figured out how to do a group at a time, but then yesterday that wouldn't work and said it was out of order. When it finally worked, it dropped off 4 of them and I had to go back and find the ones it dropped and do them individually. What a big batch of crap!!!  And we are paying these people for service?? I really wish someone else would really do a competent job of competing with ebay, I'd be gone in a heart beat. Ebay makes all the rules without any feedback from us and we can't advertize that we will take money orders or checks because they own PayPal, we're stuck and can't run our businesses like we want to.

I agree that paypal is generally inept in almost all aspects of their business, especially in features functionality and downtime. However, in fairness, this is the community forum and they never claimed that technical staff or customer service folks would participate here.

What this place really is just a platform to vent frustrations and OCCASSIONALLY a fellow user will provide a nugget of clarity or advice.

Fair enough.  Where can we go to get answers or solutions to this problem?
