Hi everyone!
There are some exciting new changes coming in the next few weeks and months!
We are replacing our current shipping label tool for another that can save you time and money.
Over the next few weeks, PayPal will be directing customers to a new and improved tool for creating shipping labels.
The new PayPal tool is powered by eBay and very similar to the current one, but it is easier to use and comes with added advantages, including extra service options, and USPS shipping rates that are up to 32.5% less than what you pay now. You can read all about the benefits in the new tool’s FAQs.
What Do I Need to Do?
Nothing right now. Just be aware that starting March 27, 2012, when you go to create a shipping label, you may be automatically directed to use the new PayPal tool.
How Does the Shipping Label Tool Work?
Working with the new tool should be easy and very similar to the one you use now. If you do need help, these FAQs, demos, and tutorials are right there to walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

I've never experienced an issue with the multi-order shipping until last night. I had 10 labels to print. I usually group them in order to be able to print of both ends of the label page.
My first group of 3 printed blank. Nothing printed but the box. No address, nothing. Reprint would simply give an error message. I called paypal help. They were no help whatsoever although nice and polite.
I ended up having to void the labels and recreate them. That time it worked. I did another label. It worked. I did 2 more, worked fine. Tried 2 more, blank labels again! Couldn't reprint. Had to void and recreate. Finally finished the task.
Out of 10 labels I ended up having to void and reprint 5 of them. Of course now I have to wait weeks to get the money back from the voided labels.
Come on, paypal. Get this fixed. If it can't be fixed in a timely manner, give us a workaround.

I can't post a new topic - get an error.
When will shipping be available? My orders are starting to stack up and I keep getting the error that shipping is unavailable.

I just printed out 3 labels and it worked fine. Though I did them all from each payment. I dont wanna even try multi-order shipping for fear they will not print out and I have to void them all and start over. 😞 Really wish they'd get this all fixed and add padded flat rate envelopes and priority zoned boxes into the shipping services! 😞

Not sure if anyone from PayPal monitors complaints, but this is getting rediculous. Multishipping history doesn't work, Payments received doesn't work, Can't print multiple labels, Activity search doesn't work. I appreciate that you are motivated to "improve" the software, but it's worse now than just the old slow and painful... I'd rather see you revert to the old software than continue to wait for it to somehow get better. Ever heard of validating software before releasing it?????

Texter, I'm with you, this whole thing is rediculous.When I bring up all transactions with balance, the last few transactions go back 10 days or so, goofy! I would much rather have the old pages and multi-order shipping that you could actually use. How long are we going to have to suffer with this junk!! Is anybody in tech support ever going to fix it???

We do not sell on eBay. It sounds as though PayPal is limiting this "tool" to eBay transactions. Will we still be able to use PayPal to print our shipping labels?

Hi,
We do have the same question. Will paypal make the shipping tool an eBay only feature? If that is the plan, then what about those sales that done at business websites? Will paypal stablish a monopoly with this new shipping tool.
We hope Olivia can tell paypal otherwise. Paypal is not eBay and thus it should not be forcing customers to print shipping labels via eBay only!
We hope they realize this before...customers need options, NOT a monopoly.
Please clarify on this matter.

Hurry up on this.
We still cannot use your new tool.
Apparently we are not "Forwarded" yet.
We are still having to use your old system that is simply achaic compared to how eBay's system works.
You guys are one company (So they say), so what is the hold up.
eBay wrote the software, all you have to is integrate.
Frankly we are very frustrated about this and you are more than a year behind on eBay on this (if not longer).
Get it going and open up your new shipping system fast.....
