Improvements to the Shipping Label Tool

Hi everyone!

There are some exciting new changes coming in the next few weeks and months!

We are replacing our current shipping label tool for another that can save you time and money.

Over the next few weeks, PayPal will be directing customers to a new and improved tool for creating shipping labels. 

The new PayPal tool is powered by eBay and very similar to the current one, but it is easier to use and comes with added advantages, including extra service options, and USPS shipping rates that are up to 32.5% less than what you pay now.  You can read all about the benefits in the new tool’s FAQs. 

What Do I Need to Do?

Nothing right now.  Just be aware that starting March 27, 2012, when you go to create a shipping label, you may be automatically directed to use the new PayPal tool.

How Does the Shipping Label Tool Work?

Working with the new tool should be easy and very similar to the one you use now.  If you do need help, these FAQs, demos, and tutorials are right there to walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

It's been about 3 weeks or more now since I've been able to use PayPal multi-order shipping.I've called a number of times, even spoke with a supervisor once, but they still haven't fixed it.I've been using Ebay for shipping and the other day the 4 I printed came up with a blank page and nothing on it. I called and they said to void them and they would refund my money in 24-48 hours and I had to reprint them separately.I'll tell you, with all the changes they seem to want to make, they need to get some people that know what they are doing, obviously they shouldn't fix it if it ain't broke. I've used multi-order for a couple years now and never had any problems, but now, I shake my head and wonder.Maybe since it's not effecting their bottom line they figure they'll let it go, I'm frustrated and from what I hear, others are too.

The dropdown box issue does seem  related to Firefox . I used IE and MOS worked. My thanks to the members who posted that solution.

I'm trying to change the ship date using the drop down but it isn't working. I've used Firefox, IE and Chrome. It doesn't work in any of those.

Try IE in 'compatibility mode'.

This has been happening for months. Try to ship an item from the payment page of that item and it comes back with "No Address Provided", even though the address is on the printed label it is not in the receipt. So you ship it like normal thinking everything is fine, and then the buyer contacts you. Why? Because the mail man knocked on her door asking for $3 and change because there was no postage on your label, mind you PayPal has the postage you paid to ship that package. Then the cancelled labels dont even say cancelled. Thus far, no refund for them either. Am I alone?

Also, while shipping through PayPal I get the window that says something like "Dont close until label has printed correctly.".... but you cant do anything with your mouse anywhere on your computer without closing said window first. Am I alone here?

I only ship USPS on here.

Does any know if I call PayPal, do the reps speak english?

The multi order shipping tool is only pulling a few of my ebay orders.  Any larger orders are not being pulled, and I have to ship each order separately.  Any solutions.

Well, at least you are able to use it some, I haven't been able to use it for 2-3 weeks with Firefox or IE either one, it just will not work. I've called them 4-5 times and even spoke with a supervisor once, but to no avail. What's up??? Also my history page of all transactions with balance skips from yesterday to Oct. 23 for 2 transactions then to Oct 8th. No matter what day I try it always does this. They have no solution for that either, last week I sent them a screen shot of what was going on, no reply. I'm very disgusted with all the hassle and am having to use Ebay shipping and do one at a time, which takes twice as long to do.

My Label isn't showing up. I've used Multi Shipping tool many times but today it does not show my label when I print. I have already paid for it and I have tried to reprint it, but it shows that the image is broken, as though it is not there. Is this just a temporary problem that will fix itself today or will I have to void my label?
