I have a buyer claiming after 5months item was not as described and is faulty, where do I stand after this amount of time. It was fully working when item left here. PayPal saying if buyer returns item a full refund will be issued. How do I stand on amount of time item has been sold.

A buyer has up to 180 days to open a dispute for non receipt of item OR item received but not as described.
This is the same timescale that credit cards normally give them.
If paypal find in favour of the buyer then you have to issue a refund BUT the buyer has to return the item back to your first (trackable to prove delivery) before you have to issue that refund.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
