Scammed after closing case on resolution centre

I opened a case against a company who failed to deliver my goods, however they emailed me a tracking number and convinced me that the item was on its way, they then asked me to close the dispute, however the item they delivered wasn’t what I ordered and I have been scammed. Is there any way of getting my money back ?

If you paid with credit card, file a dispute with them to resolve the matter. It's done, the end, in terms of trying to reopen the PayPal dispute since you were the one that closed it.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Thanks but unfortunately my PayPal account is linked to my bank account and not my credit card so that won’t be an option for me

Hmmm, you can ask customer service if they can reopen as significantly not as described but there's no guarantees that they will or even can, once you've closed it:

Log on, click HELP on top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US or other contact options.

Or contact via social media:

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/PayPalUK

Twitter: @paypalUK

Facebook (US): https://www.facebook.com/paypal

Twitter (US): @AskPayPal

Never close a dispute before you either get your item or refund to your satisfaction.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
