A case was opened in my account from a transaction that took place over a month ago that I had no clue had been opened. Not only that the person who disputed the transaction later that day stole my bank card bought Chinese food with it and tipped the cashier $40 from my card. He is now Jail and has been since literally a week after I found out it was him that took my bank card and reported it to the police. He disputed $30 he sent to my account. He needed cash so I gave him $30 and he sent me 30 on PayPal. Then he asked me if I I could help him with more. I gave him an additional $270 in cash to equal $300. After that he stole my bank card. This is ridiculous, I’ve been with PayPal for nearly 10 years and without any input from me or making sure I was aware of the case you ruled in his favor. Did u not notice that he’s got like five or six PayPal accounts that he keeps trying to use on scam sites that promise free money. I am not happy and if $00.01 is taken from my account I will close the account and add to the growing number of complaints posted on every single social media platform I utilize I will also press more charges against said person and inquire about PayPals continuous aiding and abetting of career criminals. It’s sickening to see how many people up here get scammed and just because someone doesn’t wanna do any actual work the criminals get away with it.
