I sold a used car in Florida. Buyer used friends & family to pay me. I think he used a cc to pay PayPal. He changed his mind after paying, going to DMV & signing title. Then left car & drove off. How do I know if funds will be reversed? In what timeframe?

Yes, it’s possible.
You will know when PayPal informs you. Chargebacks are decided by the card issuer, not PayPal. Chargebacks can take up to 75 days to resolve.
There’s no seller protection on vehicles and on friends and family payments. F&F is essentially “gift” payment.
I don’t understand the point of the buyer’s actions, tbh. Maybe have a mental issue.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Mental for sure! Spent all day here then changed his mind & thought I should give him a refund. I turned away 5 buyers!
