Phone number changed - can't log in

My mobile number changed a few years ago but I never updated my profile. 

Now I can't log in as Paypal wants to send me a text on the old number to verify the account.

I've tried logging in from a different browser which doesn't work.

Also tried using the Help Chat system, but this also requires me to log in to proceed.

Tried ringing the help support number but spent ages going round and round in circles with the automated options, could not get to a point of speaking to an actual person.

Funny thing is, when I selected 'Ask the Community' to access this forum, it allowed me to log in to create this profile to do this!

Really stuck as to how to resolve. Would really appreciate if anyone can offer some help with this please?

Firstly I would advise that you click on the drop down arrow top right of your post and using the edit option remove your personal phone information from this worldwide public forum.

Secondly if you go to the 'Help & Contact' icon on the PayPal website. Then if you click the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page. From here, if you click the 'Password and Account Access' option, then 'Login Problems'. On the next page, you will see a 'Call Us' option. You do not need to be logged in to use this feature.

How to login without phone number?

My old phone number is still in paypal. but i got new number.

So now i cant log in because it allways asks me to "send message to phone"...

Have tryed everything still cant get around that...

I'm in turkey right now and i cannot call i tried but nope it doesn't work and i want to get help via mail or they can call me maybe or something else like live chat

Paypal is country specific and neither available or supported in Turkey unfortunately.

Hi guys Can someone help I have a lot of money on my account but because I changed my number I can’t gain access . I’ve tried calling and was going round in circles for a hour with the automated system . Facebook said they can’t help I need to log in but to do that I need my old number which I don’t have any more Can someone help ?

I'm trying to change my mobile number but can't log in because its set to send verification code to old phone. When code sent to email the code doesn't enable me to log in.
