My mobile number changed a few years ago but I never updated my profile.
Now I can't log in as Paypal wants to send me a text on the old number to verify the account.
I've tried logging in from a different browser which doesn't work.
Also tried using the Help Chat system, but this also requires me to log in to proceed.
Tried ringing the help support number but spent ages going round and round in circles with the automated options, could not get to a point of speaking to an actual person.
Funny thing is, when I selected 'Ask the Community' to access this forum, it allowed me to log in to create this profile to do this!
Really stuck as to how to resolve. Would really appreciate if anyone can offer some help with this please?

If you go to the 'Help & Contact' icon on the PayPal website. Then if you click the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page. From here, if you click the 'Password and Account Access' option, then 'Login Problems'. On the next page, you will see a 'Call Us' option. You do not need to be logged in to use this feature.
Advice is voluntary.

I can't seem to find the section in PayPal Australia's website to phone PayPal. You know, where you select to call PayPal and a 6 digit 'one-time pass code' is generated which you have to enter before being put through to a customer service rep. I think the last time I rang PayPal was maybe 5 months ago, earlier in the year anyway, but as I say I can't seem to find it now. I click on 'Contact Us' and I just keep going 'round and round in circles'!

Hi my name is Haein [removed] and I have an issue with my account. I originally made a paypal account in Hungary, with a Hungarian bank account and Hungarian phone number (with this email address [removed]) Recently I moved to South Korea and I cannot log in to my account because I closed/terminated both of my Hungarian phone number and bank account. I have already called paypal customer service responsible for South Korea ([removed]), and they said I should contact Paypal Hungary, with phone number [removed]. Is there any other ways that I can regain access to my account without making an international phone call? Is the phone call free of charge? If there is no other way other than the international phone call, is it possible to just close the account via South Korea customer service? Hello PayPal Community,
I'm encountering a login problem with my PayPal account and could use some assistance.
My wife and I moved out of Germany, and we've closed our German bank accounts and mobile numbers. Some providers listed in our PayPal account are charging my wife's closed bank account, causing payment returns and confusion. Unfortunately, the letters from the bank don't identify the charging providers.
When my wife tries to log in to PayPal, it requires her German mobile number, which she no longer has access to.
Reaching PayPal customer care has been challenging due to long wait times and account PIN requirements.
Our main goal is to access the account to identify the charging providers and cancel automatic payments. How can we proceed without the German mobile number?

Hi everyone! I am trying to connect to my PayPal account which I haven't use in long time and I managed to reset my password but I do not have access to the phone number that was registered in order to go back in my account. Was is the best way to proceed with that? I could not find any resolution at all.
