Phone number changed - can't log in

My mobile number changed a few years ago but I never updated my profile. 

Now I can't log in as Paypal wants to send me a text on the old number to verify the account.

I've tried logging in from a different browser which doesn't work.

Also tried using the Help Chat system, but this also requires me to log in to proceed.

Tried ringing the help support number but spent ages going round and round in circles with the automated options, could not get to a point of speaking to an actual person.

Funny thing is, when I selected 'Ask the Community' to access this forum, it allowed me to log in to create this profile to do this!

Really stuck as to how to resolve. Would really appreciate if anyone can offer some help with this please?

i cannot log-in into my account. whenever i try - i try to double confirm it with my phone number - unfortunately i cannot log-in with my phone number, since it locks me up every time i try - it says it cannot verify it's actually me - how can i solve? i log-in in italy, from firefox.

I lost my phone and got a new number as replacement. Now i can't log into my account since it always wants to send SMS/call my old number.

I can't contact support because that is behind log in, too.

Tried logging into app - not working either.

How can i reclaim my account?!

I have a personal account on paypal, I cant login because the system sakes to call me on a wrong telephone number in UK, while my telephone number is in Qatar, I am no able to talk to any body in paypal about the issue, because i have to login to call them, and am not able to login!!
