phone number lost a long time ago, is money in this account useless?

I'm currently having trouble as i want to send money to an account in a different country but im unable to as it needs confirmation from a phone number i no longer have access to, is there a way to change the number?

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you've run into some issues using PayPal with an outdated phone number. I can understand how this can be a bit frustrating. I'd first recommend trying to update the number in your PayPal account, but if you run into any road-blocks there, you may want to try reaching out to our Customer Support to see what options are available to update that number.
