How to remove phone number if they are under different categories Mobile/Home?

I already have two phone numbers in account, but they are under different categories. One phone number is related to "Home" category, the second is related to "Mobile". I'm trying to remove one of them by clicking "Change" next to it, but on the next page "Change primary phone number" I just see only one number and "Add new" link. There is no remove button at all. When I'm trying to add the second number I have on this page, it says that it already exists in my account.

So I look like I need some third number to replace second. But I want to have the only one number in my account in result. It looks like a bug for me.

I'd first recommend reviewing the troubleshooting steps on your end by changing your browser or clearing your cache and cookies. It would be great if you used a laptop or a desktop to perform this action after 24–48 hours. This (How do I add and confirm, change or remove a phone number on my PayPal account) doesn't help me. And when I try to use "Contact" at the bottom of any PayPal page, I see such variants: "Ask the community" - this one where I'm currently asking to help me with a problem, "Call us" - should I use this one and call to Customer Service? Because it sends a confirmation message to the phone I have no access to. The last one is "Resolution Center", and looks like this is not what I need.

Can you clarify which exactly I should use to have a help with fixing my problem?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the PayPal Community Forum! I'm sorry to hear that you're having difficulty removing a number. To remove a mobile number, another mobile number would first have to be added and made primary. If you need any help after that, you can also call Customer Service as a guest, by clicking Contact, then Password and account access, then Login problems, then scroll to the bottom of the page for the guest Customer Service contact information.
