I never received the confirmation email to my new email address. I checked the spam folder.

I have a new email address and added it to my Paypal account. They sent a confirmation email but I never received it. Tried to resend a couple of times but no luck. And I did check my spam folder. 
Has this happened to anyone else and what options do I have?
