Hi @MoMadenU
Thank you for making a Post here.
I see you've questions about removing old address from your account.
Here’s how to remove your old address:
- Click the Settings icon next to "Log out".
- Click Manage all Addresses in the Address tile.
- Click Remove under the Address you want to delete.
- Click Remove again to confirm this change.
Tips:
- You must have at least one address on your account. You can’t remove an address until you add a new address and make it the home address.
- You can’t remove an address from your account if it is your credit card billing address.
- If you are updating an address that is linked to a card on your PayPal account, update your address with your card issuer before you update it with PayPal.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Punith

Thanks for the response.
The issue I'm having is only at time of purchase. When presented with the merchants payment page, there is a dropdown box at the top of the page that allows you to change your shipping address for the particular order. My understanding is that the addresses in the dropdown are populated by PayPal and contains every address you've ever typed into PayPal in including duplicates, typos and case sensitive differences.
The nasty part is that it will default to the first address in the list which most likely is one from a decade ago! If you don't catch it and make the change, the shipping address that gets sent to the merchant will be incorrect.
Apparently many, many people are having this issue and according to what I'm reading, you have to contact PayPal to edit or remove items from the list and there is no way to edit it yourself.

Hi @MoMadenU
Thank you for your reply! I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty you're having with the address popping up in merchants' checkouts. I am sure it's frustrating that it doesn't match what you see in your account. There is a solution, though!
Addresses entered at the time of payment in a checkout are added as hidden gift addresses, and they only display when checking out in a merchant's checkout flow. Since gift addresses don't show directly in your profile, to remove them, you would need the assistance of a Customer Service representative. To see your contact options, please click Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience, and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Olivia
