I Cant Beleave There Is'nt a Scamm Topic Hear ! 

I'm Soo Wound Up Right Now !!!! My Heart Is Beating Almost Out Of My Chest ! ! !

On The 5th October I bought a Mobile Phone From Ebay,a China Seller,Bought And Paid Instantly,Next Day i Get a message from ebay loss prevention saying i should'nt go through with the transaction,Too Late,I Did The Day Before..So i went to find the ebay auction,it was gone,and the Seller was  "No Longer a Registered User" i looked at his last feedback and he had 6 negatives saying he was a scammer !! so i immediately went to paypal and started a claim,Next Day I had a reply from paypal,the seller provided a tracking number,Then..the other day i had i card from royal mail saying they have a parcel for me that needs to be signed for,i thought yayy my phone,i went down and signed for it,it was from the seller,but it was'nt a box with a phone,it was a small envelope with a chinese coin in it,i've clearly been scammed
Soon as i got it i went to paypal and changed it from "item not recieved" and change it to "not as described"  which has took me straight back to square one..to top it off,i got a message this morning from paypal saying if i want a refund i will have to send the "worthless piece of crap" back to the seller at my expence and provide tracking,it is'nt worth the expence of sending back,it needs to be thrown staight in the bin,its worthless trash !! its all wroong wrong wrong !!!! the scammer has covered all angles,he knows full well i will have to go through a painfull and drawn out process just to get my money back,and the address that they provided is probebly either a bogus address or an empty address,my piece of crap envelope with a piece of crap coin in will never be signed for..what aload of crap this whole thing is,i'm an innocent victim thats lost my money,YES MY MONEY,And i bet there is many other victims too,And now i have the double kick in the nutts now because i have to fight to get it back !!!,i dont know what to do now ??? i feel like clearing out my paypal account and never buy from ebay ever again !!!!!! buyer protection My Arse....

Hi the Number To Greater Manchester Police is xxxxxx The Crime Number they gave me is xxxx and they said to state the date,which is xxxxx ..thats all they gave me..they told me to pass this information on to paypal..

There is'nt much left of greater manchester police now,they dont do anything anymore,i had neighbours that had a party last weekend,it went on until 7 in the morning,i rang the police 3 times,they told me they dont tackle parties and noise neusence anymore,so i had to lie in bed and put up with it until 7am..disgrace...

Hi,i uploaded a picture of what i actually recieved,a small envelope with a chinese coin,the tracking number can clearly be seen,i have'nt just made the envelope and put it together myself !! thats what i'm being accused of buy the look of it,clearly that is'nt enough,so i also typed out the info i was asked for e.g the police station address,phone number,crime number and date,then uploaded it as a pdf file..still not got a refund,i was scammed and still not got my money back,bloody ell,its like getting blood out of a stone..it took 30 seconds to get scammed,but it takes a lifetime to get a refund,i'll be on a zimma frame by the time i get my money back,thats if i get it back at all,thats if i satisfy paypal enough to qualify,i've gave all the info i have,a photo of what i got and all the info from the police,what more proof do i need ?? next thing they will say is,"we dont beleve you have been scammed" so to prove your are telling the truth,jump off a cliff,and if you live we will give you a refund..its like trying to qualify to be an astronaut..no wonder people are moaning and complaining,buyer protection stinks !!

I've also been chatting to a guy in canada that payed for 10 phones off the same scammer,he's lost alot more money then me, and he's going through the same as me,with the same results,and a month later,he still has'nt had a refund either...Absolute crazy !!

Annnnd !!! the fun continues...today i gets an email from paypal asking me to upload police info and allsorts of what ever but says it has to be on police paper..

Right,lets start again shall we...

I Went To The Police Station !! And it Was CLOSED !! I Picked The reciever Up Outside and i was put throught To The Main Greater Manchester Police !! the woman on the other end of the phone said They DO NOT Get Involved With this sort of theng ANYMORE,I asked If I could go to another station,She said i dont NEED TO,She said It Gets Dealt With OVER THE PHONE Now,And They Did'nt Give Any Copies of Statements,or Anything At All,I GOT NO PAPER WORK WHAT SO EVER All I Was Given Was The Phone Number To Greater Manchester Police,And The Crime Number..All They Said Was To Pass The Crime Number Onto Paypal,THE END !!

 So WHY are They Asking For Official Police Documents With Police Stamp ??? When I Was Told That They DO IT OVER THE PHONE !!

This is Becomming Ridiculous,Come on Now,I've been scammed out of £18-£20,If i was'nt really scammed,If i was making this up,do you really think i would go through ALL THIS hasstle to get my money back ????

Well is'nt it strange,my sellers fee's of £30.97 has been took from my paypal account this morning,it is so easy to take money from me,but now i've been conned,and the proof i have is right there to see,they turn there back on me,maybe i should have cleared my paypal account and sent it all to my bank,leave it empty,then they can see how it feels to be conned,but noo,i'm too much of a honest person to do that..i'm not a con person like others...

I understand that this has been going on for an extended period of time at this stage and I can only apologise for the delay.

Our system can not tell if you are able to get documents or not. In a lot of cases, customers are able to obtain documentation to prove their claim but in others, contact information for your local police will suffice and we can contact your local police on your behalf.

If you don't let us know that you have the information, our system will send out another request automatically. If you have obtained contact details for your local police, you need to let customer service know so that they can add the information to your case for you.

You need to click the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of any PayPal webpage. From here, you have two options, 'Call Us' or 'Email Us'. You will need to do this to make us aware that you have the information so that we can contact your local police. Otherwise, our system will still think that you are going to provide a document from your local police to us.

Hello,i've all but give up now,this really is'nt worth the massive amount of stress that this is putting me through,there really is'nt any need for all this,THIS IS IT PLAIN AND SIMPLE...

1) I clicked buy it now on a phone at 1am at night,i paid there and then through paypal..

2) I woke up at 8.30am the next morning and had recieved a message from ebay lost prevention saying that i should'nt complete the transaction..but i'de already paid..

3) I immedietly went to "my ebay" and the item/auction/everything had gone,so i went to paypal and found his ebay username,

4) I went back to ebay and finally found the seller and discovered that he has been banned..

 5) I checked his feedback and saw that he had 6 negatives,all saying they had been scammed,a couple were for external hard drives,and a couple for the same as me,Touch screen Mobile Phones..

6) So i immedietly filed a claim to paypal..

6) A few days later i got an email from paypal Saying they've had a response from the seller,and they gave me a tracking number..

7) Aprrox 2 weeks later,the item arrives,i went to the postal collection office,gave them I.D, to prove who i was,i signed for it,then they handed me an envelope,i thought,"what the **bleep** is this" ?

😎 i went straight back to my paypal account and changed it for not recieved to not as described..

9) i got an email from paypal telling me to send the envelope back to the seller,but said i will only get a refund when it gets back to china and gets signed for,but scammers are not that stupid,they either used a false address or they wont answer the door to sign for it,they know if it does'nt get signed for,i dont get a refund !! so i refused to send it..

10) Paypal sent me another email telling me to go to the police station and report it,and to get the crime number,so i went and did as i was supposed to..

11) The woman on the phone said they dont get involved with this stuff anymore,she said it gets dealt with over the phone now..

12) they gave the phone number,crime number and date,then told me to pass the info onto paypal,so typed it up on my computer,converted it to a pdf,the uploaded it and labeled it "more evidence"

13) Now..This morning i got yet another email saying all the info needs to be on polce paper,with a police stamp on it..

And i have to do all this by the 4th November..So Please,Tell me this..How do i get police paper,with police stamp on it,when i was'nt given any by the police ?? they dealt with me over the phone !!! i have nothing else to give !! no police paper,no police stamp,Nothing !!! What else can i do ?????

Hi there Paul_Brooks,

In point number 12 you mentioned that you typed up the information and converted it to a PDF file yourself, regrettably this would not be enough for us to move forward for you. We would always have to have a document on headed paper with personal details we could verify.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but without it the case would close against you. I know this seems harsh but asking for police documents is something that is possible. We would never ask for something customers can't get.

I wish I could tell you something different but without the document we are powerless.

Well then,there you go then..i've lost,i am a genuine buyer,i've been an active ebay member for 6 years,and i have 100% feedback,and i dont lie !!! i have been scammed,the case is clear and i still lost,what a joke !!

i went to the police station and i was given the information,why dont anyone at paypal ring the bleedin number and find out ?? i was'nt given any paperwork,they dont do this on paper anymore, thats what i was told BY THEM !! This is not me making things up,like i already said a number of times,they told me that they dont deal with things on paper for this sort of thing anymore,if they did i would have had it all on paper would'nt i ?? Do you Really i would go through ALL THIS if i knew that i could get a police paper that i could upload ? i would'nt mind but it is'nt even alot of money,its not like its going to make me rich,but i will say one thing,this case of scam thats been done to me is one of the most clear case scamms ever,i paid for a mobile phone,which would have been in a large-ish box,but i recieved a small envelope with a coin in it,i have the envelope that i recieved,with the coin,which i uploaded a close up picture of it and emailed to paypal,i have the phone number to the police that i spoke to,i have the crime number Which THEY GAVE ME,i have the date i attended the police station,so they will have it all on record,not only that,the seller did the same thing to at least 6 other people at the the same time,when i logged into my ebay the morning after i paid for the phone,i actually had a message from ebay themself telling me not to go through with the transaction,but it was too late,then i immedietly found that the seller had 6 negative feedbacks which he recieved between the time i paid for the phone and when i logged back on in the morning,and he was also banned at the same time..he sent the same coins to other people,i know that because i spoke to a couple of them,one was in canada,he told me he bought and paid for 10 phones,but recieved the same type of coin that i recieved,The ammount of evidence is soo clear and over welming,but i have never had to go through this much ar$e dragging hastle to prove my honesty before in my whole 41 years i've been on this earth,i cant beleave how i have to prove myself like this,how about you go and pick on the scamming scum thats conned me and the (at least) 6 other poor honest members out of our honest earned money,why dont you go and get him to prove he is honest  ?? why pick on us ?? he's the one that intentionally scammed innocent people out of there honest money,Go Pick on Him,Not Me,all i did was buy a phone,and recieved a totally different item than i bought..

Tell You What..this is a joke Now,tell you what..keep the money !! just keep it..it obviously means more to you than it does to me..i just pitty you greedy people..its a shame i have to pay for stuff through paypal,because the way i feel,and the way i'm being treated,if there was any other way of paying for things,i would shut my paypal account down right now in a show of disgust..absolutely disgusting how us honest people get treated..This has just proved as the heading of this thread...

Well a month and 5 days have passed and time is almost up,I am just waiting for that email now saying that i have failed to Qualified for a Refund,i went to citizens advice this morning,told them my case,told all my friends too,everyone thats hurd my story are all absolutely astonished that it has gone this far,everyone is convinced that i'm being flogged off !!

i'm the innocent one,all i did was buy something off ebay,payed with paypal,did what it says on ebay and i "bought with confidence" and all i got conned,and since then all i did since is ran into brick walls,i have been ripped off by a criminal,but i'm being treated as the criminal,i have had to try and prove myself beyond beleif,while the seller has walked away scott free...i've been asked for information that paypal know i cant give..any way,i have been advised to contact the financial ombudsman,which if this is'nt sorted out,that is exactly what i will do..its not about the money,its about all the pain and anxiety i've been put through,i will never trust paypal ever again,and i think you should remove "Buy With Confidence" Aswell,because that does'nt mean a thing,waste of words...

if i go through lots more stress over this,and if it kills me,you can pay for my funeral..

This to everyone,go on ebay,go to find a member,copy and paste this username "hqqyuer" look at his 6 negative feedbacks,can you all tell me if you think i am lying,can you tell me who you beleve ?? ...Thanks...

Oh and by the way,before this happened,i was such a nice placid guy,this has turned me into a evil sounding argumentative unaproacable person..i was never like this until i met a problem with paypal...
