What does one do if they do not have facebook or twitter, etc. Is there not a real phone number with a real person on the other end? An address? I've been hunting for ages for a way to contact Paypal in the the UK. I just find is absurd that a business is allowed to operate like this. You could get in touch with the Mafia so much easier!!!

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...

1. Paypal phones are slowly re-opening and increasing in numbers (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

Advice is voluntary.

My point is that any company, especially one dealing in finance, should have contact numbers, not automated systems which do not understand basic language. I'm not on facebook, twitter, etc, as I do not agree with the method of data/people manipulation. I suppose I'll have to set up an account and then delete it once this problem is resolved. But when we have a problem, we shouldn't have to add to that problem making the whole process even more problematic!

Governments should not allow these business to operate in the shadows, they should be open, accountable.

Thanks anyway.
