Earlier today I filed a claim under the category "Unauthorized." This was a mistake--I did indeed initiate the transaction.
But I didn't receive the item. The seller emailed me with questions. First he asked me how I got his URL, so I told him. Then he asked if I was really the person associated with my PayPal account. So I answered that. Then he told me I had to supply a copy of my driver's license or passport to get the item. This made me uncomfortable and I terminated the conversation.
I should have used the category "Item not received."
How do I re-file my claim correctly?
Thanks very much!!

You are only allowed x1 dispute per transaction.
However if you filed unauthorised then contact customer services and they 'may' open one for non receipt for you if you explain you made a mistake.
Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.
OR
have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
