I have asked the merchant for a refund but have yet to receive it. I would like to get PayPal to follow up with the merchant the only problem is I made the purchase through a guest account and it dosent show up on my account as a purchase even though I used the same email. How do I get the transaction to show on my account so I can select it as the one I need to dispute? Please help

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear about this situation with your purchase. If the purchase was made as a guest during checkout, then you would need to contact PayPal for assistance in opening a claim. It isn't possible to make guest checkouts appear on a different PayPal account. You can find PayPal's contact options here.
