Payment Hold on your daily sales - due to testing refunds!

Ive recived this message from paypal:

As part of our ongoing effort to make PayPal an even safer place for you and your customers to do business, we are going to place a Payment Hold on your daily sales.

The frustrating thing is I know why this has happened. To test my set up I make some transactions myself, and then cancelled the order to reemburse the funds. This of course looks like my customers were unhappy, but in actualy fact it was just me doing some teststing!

Is there anyway I can reverse this? I could show I am the owner of both accounts or I could email palpal from both accounts to confirm my story.

Im assuming the hold was created automatically. If a moderator could look into the details of this im sure I could prove this is just a missunderstanding.

Thanks

James

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do you have now become part of the reserves process, they take a specific amount from you hold it for X amount of time and after that time it becomes available to you.

It could have been as  a result of your tests, however you are stuck with it now.

OK. Is there a standard amount of time / transactions before my account goes back to normal? This coule be quite a serious issue for me. I may have to stop using paypal.

Thanks

Generally not, if  your reserves were placed due to problems such as a large number of disputes then you might be able to get it reviewed in 6 months or so but usually they are placed on an account based on the type of business and turnover involved in general.
