How do I send evidence to PayPal for a dispute?

I have never wasted so much time over $6.69 but it's the principle of the matter that's fueling me at this point.

I made a purchase in ebay and paid $5.99 for the item through paypal. When I checked my bank account there were two paypal charges, one for $5.99 and a second for $6.69. In my paypal account, the $5.99 transaction shows up but there is nothing in my paypal account transaction history for a $6.69 charge. I filed claims with paypal twice but both times rejected due to lack of evidence. They won't allow me to send them the bank account statement as evidence.

This is bank fraud by PayPal and I'll keep fighting it.

Did you buy another item around the same time for an amount more than 6.69 ??

If so then did you have any funds in your paypal balance at the time??

If so then paypal would have taken the amount from your paypal balance and the remainder from your bank account and that could mean you don't recognise the amount??

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

no other items purchased. I don't keep money in my paypal account. The debit had the same user on both transactions Zhang Yafang. I did contact him and he said he was only paid once. Bank said both originated from paypal and my bank gave a reference number of 154678 for the second charge.

Hi kensandrowicz,

Sorry to hear you have had this experience. This is unusual- I would suggest that you call PayPal directly.

If the payment is not showing on your actual PayPal account then it could be a guest payment, we can search the system for these type of transactions however would require some financial information from you & it is not safe to take this information through the Community Forum.

Please let us know how you get on!
