Recent withdrawal queries

Hi everyone,

I'd like to apologise about the delay in giving an update on this. We have been investigating your queries and responses.

Nowadays, we aim to withdraw money to your bank within 2 hours of you initiating it from your PayPal account. This is much faster than before.

However, our system delays a small amount of withdrawals for security reasons. These will usually take 21 hours to complete, a very small amount can take 72 hours. These will show as being “under review” in your PayPal account.

You can find the small print in our UA in section 6.2.b.3.

P.S. While I hope this sheds some light on the situation, I understand your frustration and confusion. I’ll make sure to forward your feedback, too.

Your staff even can't answer how many withdrawal I have to do to force them stop pending MY money!!! They said "few". What? You already pended my 4 (!!!) withrawal in order!!!!! I can't take MY OWN money!!!!

For many months now I have been able to do my withdrawals and get the money in 2 hours (usually much quicker i.e. I log on to my bank and it is there).

Did a withdrawal yesterday - it shows COMPLETED in my PayPal transactions.  

I got the usual email saying 2 hours.

But 24 hours later NOTHING in my bank account.

I cannot convey how annoying this has been.  I really needed that money yesterday.

Is anyone else in the same boat i.e. transaction showing completed and an email with the usual 2 hour time BUT 24 hours later nothing has appeared? 

To clarify, I have the transaction down as completed - not showing as pending or under review or anything like that - but nothing in my bank account like it would normally be.

Two days now and still no money in my bank.   This is worrying as the withdrawal is shown as COMPLETED at PayPal.

Has ANYONE at all had the same problem i.e. the 2 hour usual policy has not been applied despite PayPal indicating that it has (no pending or hold status on payment).

I've received some money and withdrew it immediately...I'm pushing on 72 hours now and I still haven't received it in my bank account which is frustrating as I have to travel south tomorrow and I cannnot access MY OWN MONEY to do it and I'm gonna end up having to borrow cash off someone which I HATE! 

and it's still showing Pending from PayPal so I'm assuming that I'm not gonna get it today which **bleep**.

Well mine is showing COMPLETED and showed COMPLETED straight away.   But five days later NOT A PENNY.

Have had a terrible weekend with no cash.

Every time i have withdrawn 10 or 20 pounds it has been instant But just withdrew £3000 and surprise surprise.....pending!!! What a joke, if you were unsure on my accounts security then why release the smaller amounts instantly?? Enjoy the interest you make in my money!!! Sly, very sly

Well my problem is that it was completed straight away - no pending or review - and yet still no sign of funds at my bank account.

Have no money 9 days later and am faced with the same for a second weekend (a bank holiday one at that).

Nobody wants to help.  Long wait on phone just to hear PayPal inform me it has been sent.  Bank state has not been received.  Emails unanswered at PayPal. 

Am left in no man's land.
