How do I get the list of countries approved on PayPal and what happen if my country is not in the list?

We support services for more than 190 countries. Here’s how you can see the different services and products we offer in your country:

1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk.
2. Click ‘Sign Up’ at the top of the page.
3. In the drop-down menu, select the region you are interested in.

I use Paypal as my e-commerce solution. have a customer in Egypt who tells me you refuse to handle his money. Is that correct? How much other business are you turning away? 

Secondly: why, having logged in to Paypal and navigated to this forum, do I have to login again to use it - only to be told I am "leaving Paypal"? This makes you look like one big phishing scam.

This board is not manned solely by moderators most of us are just users like yourself.

If you look at paypal approved countries they do not have paypal in Egypt.

Lastly if you scroll to the bottom and click on the link direct to the forums you won't have to log in twice.

So...to get back to the original question, is there, anywhere on PayPal, a list of the 190 countries that they approve of?

I wouldn't generally expect such a thing to be so hard to find.

It's virtually impossible to find via their help system! Why their own moderators can't / won't provide it even when pressed escapes me!

What about South Sudan? I use South Africa, because I do not see my country in the list of countries.
