How do I add a tracking number to end an item not recieved dispute?

I'm having a real headache here with an ebay sale. Sold an item that was shipped through ebay's international shipping program. The first postage sticker didn't print properly, so I had to cancel and print another. The buyer got antsy and opened a dispute. I gave them the tracking numbers in the comments, but they didn't close the dispute. I can view the tracking through ebay and it shows the package has been delivered. I asked the buyer to cancel the dispute. They still haven't canceled it. I was told by a friend to add the tracking number to the dispute, but I cannot figure out how to do that. The original (cancelled) postage is visible but I see no way to delete it and replace it with the proper tracking number. I do not have a lot of money which is why I'm selling stuff on ebay so this is REALLY **bleep** up my life now.

If anybody knows how to do this please let me know, I've been looking all over paypal and cannot find instructions for what must be a pretty common question. Thank you!

if the shipping label does not print or get smeared,you can always reprint the lable,no need to cancel it.

there is a reprint label feature on Ebay.

There is also add another tracking number feature on your listing,you can add second one after the first one.

if he has open a dispute of item not received  on Ebay and tracking shows it has been delivered,you are fine .

you said Ebay international shipping program,are you using GSP where you ship to Erlinger Kentucky and they ship overseas?

if using GSP,shipping said delivered to Kentucky is good enough

The new tracking number was added to ebay weeks ago, and it shows the item was delivered, but the dispute is still open.

if so,then the robot has not come around and check the tracking number .

if this is EBAY,you can call them and expedite but not sure about Paypal as it has a huge backlog of disputes and other matters like their own **bleep** up !

where is it going?

tracking must show it has been delivered to the address,not the country.

if $750 or more,signature confirmation.

the tracking number which shows it has been delivered MUST be added to the case,not good enough if you add to the comments or else where,

robot comes to the open case and look for tracking,pick up that number and confirm with the website,(usps,ups,fed exp,dhl)

robot cannot watch movie or read Gone with the Wind

is this a PAYPAL dispute or Ebay dispute?

with Paypal,go to resolution case and look up the case,and if it has not been escalated to Paypal review,you can add comments,if you do not see a place to add tracking,could it be the case is about item not as descrived,not item not received.

you can also contact Paypal on twitter or facebook,reference your case number

It is a paypal case. I talked to paypal support on the phone, and they sent me a message about how to add a tracking number. Followed the instruction - but there is still no way to add or edit the tracking number. Weird thing is, when I go into my Activity section, and click on the "see details on classic site" link - it shows the proper tracking number, and shows the package was delivered. But on the new layout it shows the old tracking number and there is NO WAY to edit it, despite what paypal's message says.

what matters is what is entered in the PAYPAL case,the tracking must show it has been delivered.

if the case has been escalated to Paypal review,neither buyer nor seller can add anything new,did you enter a tracking number,what does it say?
