I bought an item (outside Ebay) which I paid for with Paypal. The seller provided tracking # for the item. According to the USPS tracking information the expected package was Delivered in/at MAilbox. However there was no package either in the mailbox or at my door. I contacted the seller and was told that I have to call the Post Office. I tried to call but was put on hold for ever and was unable to talk to the representative. I also sent an email but got no answer. Anyways as far as I heard, it is seller's responsibility to make sure the buyer gets their item. So shouldn't the seller be the one dealing with the post office and going through all this hussle? Do i have enough ground to file a claim on Paypal? Thank you!
Does the tracking number show the item as delivered to you?? Even if you have not got it does it show that it was sent and received at your address??
If so then the seller would win any dispute. If that is the case it is up to you to take it up with the postage service / courier as the seller can't claim for you if it showed as delivered.

Same happened to me..i bought two items at 2 lbs each so the total package should of weighed 4 lbs...But since the tracking shows item delivered i lost dispute...even though package says 2.1lbs..I even told ebay and sent copy of postal tracking which has the weight incorporated in the tracking but...guess they are too lazy to figure it out..after reading the sellers "feedback" he has done this numerous times..IM SO DONE with EBAY....nOW I BOUGHT A COMPUTER MONITOR WITH PAYPAL CREDIT..IF ITEM WAS PAID OFF IN SIX MONTHS THERE WOULD BE NO INTEREST...ONLY PROBLEM IS THE MONITOR FIZZLED OUT IN 5 MONTHS.SCAMMERS,SCAMMERS,SCAMMERS ALL OF THEM !!
