The way PayPal Credit works is when you do not have enough line of credit for a purchase, PayPal Credit evaluate you for a credit line increase. Your eligibility for a credit increase is determined by your credit history and customer history with PayPal Credit, and the Terms and Conditions. This will happen automatically during checkout, so you don’t even need to ask. If not, I presume they will decline the purchase.
The only way to make a split payment is when you have a PayPal Balance and they will use your back up funding source.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
