Hi All
I've been using Paypal for about 6 years now in conjunction with Etsy and have had 3 chargebacks filed against me.
Each and every one of these has been completely inappropriate as I have correspondence to prove that the items were received / were being kept / or were correctly ordered.
Is there a forum where we can publically name & shame these scammers?
Perhaps list their paypal account email addresses & names so that anyone who wishes to check on their online sales prior to sending the goods, can cross-check against their chargeback scam history?
Any ideas?
Thanks!!!

Do you have delivery confirmation for each case?
Are your products covered for seller protection?

I won the first two cases (after spending hours and hours uploading supporting documentation)
The third case is still being deliberated by the credit card company.
Unfortunately, using the regular postal service out of Cape Town South Africa, which I use; does not always allow for online tracking of the parcel as our local allocated track & trace numbers sometimes don't get logged on www.usps.com (even after I have confirmation by customers that they have safely received the packages). As such, my parcels become ineligible for Seller Protection because of the lack of verifiable online tracking.
Nevertheless, I do believe that we should have a central digital online repository (perhaps even a dedicated website?) for the names / pseudonyms / email addresses of 'customers' who scam Sellers by lodging fraudulent Chargeback cases.

chargebacks are with credit card issuer, dispute is filed with Paypal.
If you lose a chargeback, there is a chargeback fee you have to pay $20

They are chargebacks, lodged by Buyer, with their credit card companies, via Paypal.
I have spent - as I'm sure many many legitimate Sellers do - hours and hours collating and uploading my supporting documentation to prove that the purchases were legitimate, intended and all posting happened correctly.
Unfortunately www.usps.com doesn't reflect the progress of items shipped by South African Post Office any longer, so my parcels are no longer eligible for Seller Protection.

delivery confirmation saying it has been delivered is more for Paypal and Ebay, but with credit card chargeback,it is not so effective.
If the buyer insists he did not receive the item,he could win.
if there is a signature,he could say it is not his.
Some Fed Exp ground drivers are known to sign the package themselves/
so,if your postal service tracking is not showing up on USPS website, you may want to consider using a different carrier like DHL.
You cannot list individual names and their personal information in public, you could be sued.
Or your selling privilege could be suspended if they complain to the venue providers.

I just had 2 chargebacks. Would someone tell me how I can get a chargeback on a swiped transaction. Cards weren't stolen so does that mean I went to their house and in the middle of the night made a charge on their accounts? Unbelieveable! Looking for a new provider that supports sellers.

are you saying someone comes to your store and you take their credit card and swipe it on your machine?
The card could be stolen ,the person who comes to your store is using a stolen card which has not been reported as stolen
