Removing a name from payment list

Hi,

Last year I opened an account with a company and paid for its services though Paypal. I later closed the account, but didn't think to cancel the arrangement with Paypal. I now wish to open another account with the same company but whilst organising payment once again through Paypal, have been told the old arrangement is still active and I cannot open another.

Unfortunately I cannot find how to do this. Can anyone help please?

Here’s how to cancel a subscription or recurring payment:

Paypal summary page > profile (spanner looking icon next to log out) > bottom right paypal settings > pre-approved payments.

Thanks for response, Kernolass.  There doesn't seem to be a record of the name in the list so I have now got in touch with the Paypal people to sort it.
