Hi @Mahesh280,   The PayPal Community welcomes your post!   If you have any payments that would be coming from that debit card, they will not go through. It would be important to change your payment method to the payments in question so that you do not experience a disruption. If you have payments that are taken from your bank account and that is not changing, your payments will go through as they would normally. There are some times when the backup funding source may be charged when the preferred method is unavailable, so please have your funding sources updated within your Wallet. Once you have your new card available, please update it in your PayPal account. I know it would be important to keep that a surprise! At PayPal, we always recommend that our customers create and use their own account. If you have a partner that uses your PayPal account, this could end up causing security issues down the road. If you have a Business account and your partner is added as an authorized user, then using the account should be fine. I see that you've asked how you can remove a transaction from appearing in your Activity or dashboard. PayPal does not have that capability at this time. I'm sorry to give you this news! To make a payment through PayPal without opening an account, they'll have to have you send an invoice or money request to their email address. This will cause the sender to receive an email with either a detailed invoice or a simple note explaining what the money is needed for. Here's are the steps: 1. Navigate to the PayPal website and sign in to your account. 2. Click the "Request Money" tab at the top of the screen. 3. Click "Request Money." 4. Hello @Me19nep,   Welcome to the PayPal Community!    I see that you have concerns regarding your bank account being charged for a payment that was intended for your preferred funding source of PayPal Credit. I'm sorry for the trouble you've had! PayPal Credit is a special credit line that merchants and websites need to have on as an option for acceptable forms of payment. Additionally, our internal security system could flag something as risky and prevent PayPal Credit from being available. Lastly, your back up funding source will be charged if your PayPal Credit does not have enough available credit, or you will be asked to select a different payment method at checkout. Some transfers may be instant if PayPal deems it is eligible as an instant transaction. Others could take longer because it was a standard transfer or it is processing as a non-instant transfer. Sometimes risk is a factor as well. Note, if you've waited longer than 7 business days, your bank may be having issues processing your transfer. This can commonly be due to an incorrect account number that was entered, or a bank account that doesn't accept electronic funds transfers. It may take a week or so for a notification to come from the bank if there's a problem with a transfer. PayPal will be sure to email you if they receive any information from your bank. The good news is that you can link a debit card, credit card and bank account to your PayPal profile. RHB is not the only bank that PayPal works with. Chargebacks are going to be dispute cases opened by a banking institution or card-issuing bank. This type if case is not filed from your PayPal account. The bank will create a case and then communicate the data to PayPal. PayPal will cooperate with the bank's request and provide any information needed for their investigation. Please note, filing a chargeback dispute does not automatically mean you will be refunded. The decision is at the bank's discretion since the case is open through them. It would be important to review if you have received any email communications from PayPal regarding a refund. A screenshot from the recipient isn't a very concrete way of confirming a refund. If the refund was done and is coming from the other user's bank account through PayPal, it could take up to a week to complete. If the refund was coming from their PayPal account balance, it would have been almost instant. I suggest you follow up with your friend to see why there is a delay. You can also have PayPal review your account and activity to see if there is a refund being processed. That would be an arrangement you would work out with the seller if possible. If you were charged a higher amount than expected, you can open up a PayPal billing dispute to have things reviewed. That's if you are unable to resolve directly with the merchant. If you paid using a card, there would be a fee taken in that situation. Fees can be reviewed on the PayPal website. Taxes are typically charged by the merchant though, so it may be best to get back in contact with them. The funding sources added to an account should correlate to the original account owner. This is due to identity confirmation and verification. If you own the account, the funding sources added should be owned by you as well. Your brother would be authorized to use and review the account, but they would not be permitted to add a bank account that they own. The system may not even allow the action to pass because it will go to verify the bank further before it is successfully added. If your brother is of legal age to have a PayPal account, it may be best to have him sign up for his own account. Hello @Robinsmart,   We appreciate your response!   Being able to add funds to your PayPal is a nice feature to have available, so I'm sorry it has been giving you trouble. You can add funds from your confirmed bank account, from the PayPal Cash Card or from participating stores. Most Savings accounts do not allow withdrawals or debits from them. This could be why you are unable to add funds from your Savings account with your bank. Adding money from a Checking account may prove to be more beneficial.
