You're right, this is messed up, I talked to PayPal and they said their security has me blocked, but won't tell me why and says they can't provide why because it is a security risk, I have never defaulted a payment, everything has always been perfect, but they say it's their system and I need to use a different payment option, I am pretty close to just closing down my paypal, it isn't working they way it used to and all they care about is what they can make off of people, so i'd just assume use my bank card, the hell with paypal. ... It's not a question of having so little in my bank acct, it's the fact that some people, Myself included, has more than one bank acct, and the acct linked to all this web sh** is not the one I attach all my money too, You think I am going to post my acct and debit card numbers to all my money online? some folks are a tad more cautious than that, And it's not an interest free loan, it's a purchase that you have the time to make sure it's all good before paying for it, that's why PAD was even there, So think before insuating people do things how you would, not everyone is the same as you. and yes, it is a community answers page, but if you can't answer and have never even tried it or wanted too, why even chime in? it's of no help to anyone. ... Has anyone else experience the fact the pay after delivery has not only changed and messed up bank accounts from going from 14 to 10 days with warning emails a few days after paypal made the changes, But it also no longer available? I have tried all the same merchant i've used before, and none of my transactions have the pay after delivery option, I actually went and ordered 60.00 worth products from Amazon because I wasn't offered pay after delivery on ebay, I know it's not the merchants, it's paypal itself, the merchants have nothing to do with pay after delivery, that's ALL paypal, So PayPal rep if you read this, It would be nice if y'all could get things fixed and PAD straightened out, If not, then I have no use for the paypal acct. and that was pretty dirty cutting everyones 14 days short and causing a bunch of overdraft charges, I got hit with 150.00 in overdrafts fees alone. Sounds like to me they cancelled your order but never refunded your money, I would be messaging them and asking for a refund immediately, people should be checking their stock before selling things they don't have, I have also noticed a lot of people making listing and adding to the price and then taking the money their buyer pays with and ordering it for cheaper off Amazon, It has happened a lot here recently. ... You're gonna have to call paypal on that one and ask them to release it, that's what it always comes down too, it probably triggered their system saying it was a duplicate refund or something, good luck ... View more

Normally it doesn't take long, 3 to 5 days at the most normally, sometimes faster, but don't let them give you the run around, they can reverse and refund in 10 minutes if they want too, I have had people say they will refund me and have the money back in my acct in 10 minutes, some of them will make you wait 3 to 5 days. ... Actually it's not up to the merchants to accept it or not, they don't even know if a buyer is using that option, paypal pays the seller and the withdrawls from your acct in 10 to 14 days now, it was 14, but they have changed, I don't have the pay after delivery option on anything anymore since they have changed the dates and people have been complaining, If they do away with it, they will lose a ton of revenue, because I will have no reason to really purchase anything from ebay using paypal, I'll just switch to amazon where it's cheaper and pay with my bank card, Someone at paypal needs to be getting this fixed, it goes back to the old saying, don't try to fix what isn't broken, it only breaks it down, and that's what they've done.
