So a couple weeks ago my card was deactivated so had to get a new one. When I got it, i updated my payments on my accounts to the new card once it was activated. All of them work, except Paypal, specifically when transferring money from bank to paypal to avoid the "3 days" and go for "seconds". To elaborate a little, there are people who generously give to others, and 2 services are used, paypal and cashapp. There are also games that give you money using paypal. So if someone deposits $100 into my paypal, can they at any point take it back? or once it reaches into my account its mine? Basically is it "no takebacksies" or will I suffer if I withdraw the money and later they take back the $100 causing a -$100? FYI there are actual people who gave me money and i made money from games, but there are scams out there and its those the reason im asking ... View more

Today I had gone to my bank account and saw a pending unusual transaction, coming from PayPal. So I come here and have found out some things and has me confused. So this is part of a pay in 4 plan, but it doesn't show up in the pay in 4 plans and I don't recognized the amount in anything I have purchased. Another thing, I went to the help section, and the bot told me this: "Funding instrument: credit card"  I have no idea what the heck is going on with this. I saw it has a transaction date of 6/24 and checked, I got no email about this transaction except from my bank telling me of it, but nothing from paypal.  It is still pending and saw it has a I'm guessing processing date of 6/28 I'm worried. So I payed for a song on itunes about  days ago and just now it is showing up in my bank account as pending. What is weirder is it does not show in my paypal summary. Seperate but relevant issue, i payed for something 2 days ago and it shows up in my payal as paid but has not shown up in my bank account meaning the funds have not been withdrawn.   Why is this happening? why is the song shown in my bank account but not in paypal and why has the product shown in paypal but not yet withdrawn from my bank account? ... So I haven't used PayPal in quite a while and now they are asking for some information which are quite personal. The ID I can provide but the utility bill is a problem, I don't own the house I live in. And the SSN is out of the question. I will not provide that kind of sensitive information. Now I can't add money to PayPal so I can pay the seller quick. I can maybe live with that but now PayPal won't stop emailing me till I resolve this. ... View more
