I got a $750 dispute and paypal took twice the amount from me. I wonder where the second $750 went. 2. Paypal has given me 6 permanent limitations and I had to email them to get it removed. It seems like their system keeps flagging my acc after they remove it. i don't know. regardless, imagine how many people are getting wrongfully limited and getting their money taken away from them because paypal's system is flawed. 3. Seller Protection does not really cover intangible goods. There is no way for PayPal to tell you actually fulfilled an order when the product is an intangible good. You could very very easily fake proof which is why I think PayPal doesn't give you seller protection most of the time when you sell intangible goods. I sell intangible goods and I respond to all my disputes with the same evidence yet some of them are covered under paypal's seller protection and some are not. doesn't make sense to me. I also had a paypal support agent tell me intangible goods aren't covered under paypal sellers protection when they are 4. Limitations. When you make an account with other payment processors like stripe they ask you questions about your business before they let you start using stripe. PayPal lets you start doing business with them before providing any of that info then they randomly limit your account after you've accumulated a balance. So, now your money is stuck in a PayPal account for 3 days to 6 months. At any time while using PayPal they can permanently limit your account for "high risk" then your PayPal balance will be stuck for at least 6 months. They may also take your balance for "damages to paypal" if some paypal agent decides to do that.. 5. Lazy and unhelpful customer support. - If you call PayPal and you have a problem with your paypal account (limitations) or you need help with a dispute, or if you have an uncommon paypal error when logging in they cannot help you. They will instead tell you whatever you want to here to get you off the phone as soon as possible. I had a paypal support agent tell me that he'll look into the error I was getting while logging in and call me back. He never called me back
