Typically, if you are waiting six months to access your balance, it sounds like your account may have become limited and not closed. Is your account permanently limited? If so, the balance is not transferred automatically. You will need to manually transfer the funds to your bank/card. Please keep in mind that not all withdrawal options are available. If you'd like to discuss this further and identify how you can withdraw, please contact Customer Support directly by clicking Contact and then Message Us (when available) at the bottom of the PayPal website. Receiving payments differs from country to country as regulations are not the same in each location. If you have already reviewed your account and are still having trouble with a payment, the best suggestion is to have Customer Support take a deeper dive to review things further.    In your case, @Capyboppy1, the receiver may be experiencing one of several possible issues that could prohibit the payment from being received. They will need to contact Customer Support too if they haven't already.    You can reach Customer Support by clicking Contact and then Message Us (when available) at the bottom of the PayPal website. Generally, if you are receiving the error mentioned, this would mean that our security system has detected that additional verification may be required to secure the account. I'm glad that you were able to reach us and I will do my best to assist you. Limitations most often occur when we believe there are security concerns or if we need to verify someone's identity. Federal law mandates we do this in much the same way banks require identification when creating an account. In most cases, you can visit the Resolution Center and find any outstanding steps required to restore the account.
