@Sascha1983 If adding funds is problematic, you do not need to add funds in order to pay with PayPal. Just select the bank account as the funding source at checkout instead. The payment will go as an eCheck (both parties will have to wait for the funds to clear bank before recipient receives payment) but if you also have a credit or debit card linked, PayPal may instead make an "instant transfer" payment and pay ahead to the recipient immediately and await for your bank payment to clear, tapping your back up card if your bank account is insufficient in which case you'd have to add funds to your bank account (not your PayPal balance) asap to avoid further bank overdraft fees as PayPal will present payment to your bank up to 2 more times.

@Bee4555 If your refund status is pending, it means the transaction was refunded before it cleared your bank, or the seller issued the refund using money from their bank which has not cleared yet. This process takes 3-5 business days to complete. Once the process is completed, the refund will be credited to your bank account. If you initially paid for the transaction with your credit or debit card, the refund will be credited to that card within a week, up to 30 days. The only way to know is wait for the status to change to "Refunded". Here are a few common refund statuses you may see: Pending: The refund is still processing from the sender's payment method. It usually takes 3-5 business days from the date the refund was issued for it to be completed and credited back to the original form of payment. Refunded or Partially Refunded: The refund is complete. The money has been credited to the original form of payment. Temporary hold: The transaction was refunded before it has cleared your bank. It'll take 3-5 business days for the money to clear your bank, and then the refund will be credited to your bank account.

@James264 If you do not spend the money for a couple of billing cycles, then PayPal will issue a refund on the next billing cycle and perhaps either cut you cheque or send it to your PayPal balance...whatever their policy may be.

@Vibez1 We won't be able to tell you for sure. @robzombie20031 PayPal Credit might not be offered for every transaction but if offered and it goes through, you can. If it doesn't go through then, either the selling site or PayPal is declining it due to their risk model filters not letting the transaction go through.
