can't find chase bank

I can't find chase bank when they ask to "add a bank"? Am I missing something. I went through the help texting and entered account and routing but received no deposits like they said I would. confused as to how chase is not searchable by chase or jp morgan chase

same here , i recently opened my chase accruing and i set up everything and it was working at first i even bought something with paypal but then it started acting up and it said it couldn’t link the account.

It's 9-10-2021 and still having this issue since early this year. Have to use Chase Visa to send money and Paypal charge for that.

I'm happy to solve a problem for more than myself.

The only way to get Chase bank linked to your Paypal is to choose one of these two options:

A)

   1. Click Wallet

   2. Add bank

   3. Scroll down and click "search for other banks"

   4. In the "Choose your location" search bar, type some gobbledygook in order to end up with 0 search results. (gobbl will generally do, but make sure       you see "Let's use your bank details".

   5. Enter Chase routing number [Removed] and your account number.  You can enter my account number, but your spouse or partner may not like it.

   6. Chase bank, the behemoth dinosaur they are, will wait for an "Office Space" amount of change sponsored by the change they found in Jamie [Removed].  Paypal says 1-2 days, but it'll likely be delayed by the horse malaria going around.

   7. (And this is all an assumption), you'll receive the chump change, log in to Paypal, and attempt to properly enter the $1 you got from a $350B company.

   8. Celebrate, you've officially stuck it to the man.

   9. Proceed to open 100,000 of said accounts.

10.  Buy crypto.

11.  Retire in Caymans.  Or, donate to my project. [removed]

B) Call Paypal support and see if they can explain that to you in plain English from wherever they are sitting in Asia.

Ok, hold the phone.  

I just read something extremely unnerving.

We sent 2 small deposits (less than $0.50) to your JPMORGAN CHASE BANK, NA Checking ••#### account and retrieved them in 1 withdrawal.

RETRIEVED THEM?!?  For real?  We can't even roll around in our dirty coins anymore?  I guess democracy IS dying after all.

I KNOW THERE ARE FOLKS OUT THERE IN 2022 STILL LOOKING FOR HELP. As I was one of them.

I have a super simple, easy answer for ya'll.

If you already manually input your account and routing numbers for Chase Manhatten:

1)    From your Paypal Dashboard, go to the help center. 

Or.

https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/home

2)     Select "Message Center" on the right side of the screen.

3)     An automated messenger will open up. In the text field, type "Confirm Bank Account" and click send.

4)     If you already manually entered your bank information and have your two deposits, the automated messenger will see that and you can continue verifying through the automated text chat.

I can't believe it's been 3 years and people are still complaining about this. So your bank isn't listed in the idiot section. So what? Do you know how banks work? You just need your account number and routing number to add your account to PayPal, it doesn't matter what bank you have. You could bank with the Coastal Bank of Transnistria But as long as you have a valid account and routing number, you can link it to your PayPal account. This was answered in the very first reply to the initial question way back in February 2019. You people need to learn how to read.
