New Venmo payments exciting unusual, but will it work with a different unique weird email?

My clients want Venmo so I'm thrilled they can now just press a button, but can they?  Will the payment go into my paypal account or into my venmo? My venmo uses a different email not listed on my PayPal. Do I need to change something?

Welcome! Thank you for visiting PayPal's Community! I'm sorry to hear there's been some confusing around the Pay with Venmo feature. If your buyer uses the Pay with Venmo option on one of your PayPal transactions, the payment will be deposited to your PayPal balance.
