How do I change payee name?

Have been paying an organization with the treasures name.  She is stepping down.  How do I change the name of payee.  I have deleted person and tried to start new payee using email address and organization name but still comes up with old treasurer's name.

Thank you for that clarification. The owner of the account that you're paying would have to update their account information. Has that occurred?

Let's see if we can understand more bout the nature of the request. Are you making payments TO an organization that has a new treasurer, or FROM an organization that has a new treasurer? This information will help guide the Community a little more on the nature of the question and allow more assistance.

I am making a payment to an organization.  I originally paid the organization through an individual representative for the organization.  This individual is now retiring and I want to change the payee name to the organization.  I have tried place the email address as the receiver of the payment but Paypal always reverts to the individuals name.  I have even removed all from, my contacts to no avail.

No, the account owner has not. I will contact them to alert them of the situation. I suspect many are affected by this, but I am the only one **bleep** enough to pursue. Thank you.
