Guest Account Payment Options

I have made a payment using the guest checkout method in Zalora but the payment was declined eventhough the amount was debited from the account. Since its a guest account i cant do anything about cancelling the payment either. What are my options now?

I understand your frustration with being unable to cancel what seems like a payment debited from your account though the transaction was declined. It sounds like an authorization was initiated, which holds the funds for the transaction and allows the merchant to capture the payment when they wish to complete the order. If the merchant declined the transaction on their side (which can happen due to availability of the item or other reasons) it should have released the authorization hold, but sometimes there's an error in communication and the hold does not get released. You can request that the merchant manually release the authorization from within their PayPal account. If they opt not to do that or can't for any reason and they do not capture the payment, the authorization will time out after 30 days.
