We are a registered charity which has just started taking payments on our website through Paypal.
The Paypal documentation on Charity Fees states that we will pay 1.4% plus 20p per transaction.
However on 3 payments received of £17.00 we have been charged £0.50 on 2 transactions and £0.79 on another. Also on a £9.00 payment received we have been charged £0.41. These fees are far more than 1.4% plus 20p per transaction, and also inconsistent fee amounts for the same amount received.
Can someone please explain why this is? How do I contact Paypal to complain about this as I just cannot find out how to contact a human being.
