e-check is that f & f or g & s?

someone sent me an e-check .. he said he chose F & F but PayPal emailed me saying..

"Don't ship any items until we complete the payment"
so does that mean it's not F & F?
I know that G & S takes fees but the amount I am supposed to get is shown on my account without fees cut ... will they cut the fees after?

or it's really F & F

@koiero

Hope you are not using the friends/family option to sell things as that is against paypal rules and may lead to a permanent ban as paypal check those payment types.

An echeque is just a bank transfer....

There are times when its you and the seller / recipient that take the wait for the echeque to clear and here are some of the reasons...

1. Back up card has expired or needs updating.
2. You have had a recent negative balance or failed bank transfer (so paypal are not going to credit the seller in advance in case it happens again).
3. For some high cost riskier payments / transactions.
4. Friends / family payments *funded from a bank account* as this option is free then its you that takes the wait this time.
5. Clearing a negative balance.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.
