Using credit card rewards points when the option doesn't appear at checkout?

How do I use credit card rewards points when the option doesn't pop up at checkout on the website even though they accept PayPal?

Welcome to the PayPal Community! After a bit of research, it seems that you may only be able to use your credit card reward points on certain purchases. You can read a bit more about this under the Pay With Rewards section here.
