Travelling in USA

I'm travelling in the US from Australia and I can't make a purchase online with my PayPal account in the USA. It keeps saying payment declined by financial institution. I'm trying to buba mobile plan. Is there a reason why it won't let me?

PayPal is country specific so once you leave AU, you may experience problems using the account since you are logging in from different country. Buy mobile plan without PayPal using card instead. Your cards also protect your from unauthorized use.
