Deducted balance

Hello, I would like your help in that I bought a CD key and did not receive it from the website for 2 days, they just sent me an email saying that there was an error with paypal and the transaction was not deducted, but the money was deducted from the card.. When I would press it to see the transaction, paypal on doesn't add anything.. Maybe someone can help me with this? Thank you for your answer in advance!

While the funds are deducted via an authorization, it is held in reserve for the purchase so it doesn’t get spent.

Since the order failed and merchant will not be able to void it, you’ll have to wait for the authorization to expire and drop off. Sometimes this can take a few days and sometimes it can take 30 days. If the authorization remains longer than 30 days, contact PayPal or your card issuer to void the authorization where ever you are seeing it (in PayPal or your card).
