Has anyone gotten there stimulus check deposited into their account??

How in tarnations would it be indicated as a goods and services payment? Doesn't make any sense. Or, are direct deposits also subject to PayPal holds. Hmmm. 🤔

Anyway, if that's what's happening I doubt the IRS will be able to "confirm receipt" on so many accounts if this is happening so you may have to wait up to 21 days after marking it as Processed for PayPal to release funds. Click "Add Tracking" button after clicking the transaction.

That's why I don't be messin' around with PayPal direct deposit. PayPal in general can temporarily freeze/hold funds. Love PayPal, but I know better.

Does anyone know what I should do since my stimulus check is on hold . This blue icon pops up and when I click on it it get 2 options  the  first one says #1.Product Shipped or planning to ship
#2.Service or virtual product
Doesn’t need or not planning to ship..   I'm honestly wanting to click one of the two just to see if I get my money out of being on hold but I also do not want to choose the wrong one as I know if I choose one I'll have the worst luck and mess things up, and bring that their is limited help I do not want that to happen at all. so if anyone has a solution please feel free to lend me some advice, thank you!

Oh wow, direct deposits are also subject to holds. Eek! The thing of it is, the IRS probably won't be able to 'confirm receipt' to release funds immediately. Its not like they have a PayPal account to do it. Or do they? Someone would have to sit there and confirm receipts on who knows how many accounts in that case. The IRS just used PayPal direct deposit account and routing number info to send you your funds. Not with a PayPal account.

If its not one thing, its another. ::sigh::

Here is what one have to do normally if a payment is on hold:

If you are experiencing delayed funds availability, here are some shipping tips that may help you get your payment sooner:

• Add tracking information: If you provide tracking information from one of PayPal’s supported carrriers in the transaction details page, your payment should be available 1 day after we can confirm the delivery date. 
• No Shipping Info: If your item doesn't need to be shipped (e-books, piano lessons, etc.), mark the order as Processed and provide the required details.
• Buyer confirmation: A buyer will receive a notification email once you've uploaded the tracking number. When your buyer confirms they've received the item, the payment will be released immediately.

(These options may not be available for some countries):

Seller/Recipient: To add tracking information:

1. Click Activity at the top of the page.

2. Find and click the original payment for the item or service.

3. Click Add Tracking Info.

4. Select an Order Status: Processed or Shipped with or without tracking info.

Buyer/Sender: To confirm you've received an item:

1. Go to Activity.
2. Find and click the original payment for the item.
3. Click Confirm receipt.
4. Click Yes to confirm that you received the order.

Note: Not all purchases require receipt confirmation.

If buyer/sender does not confirm receipt, you may have to wait up to 21 days for PayPal to release funds.

Is there no further information on the screen along with those options? Like having to wait up to 21 days for the money to be released?

Hi everyone. I'm am literally almost in tears because I'm so furious that I received my tax stimulus deposit and the rental car company Dollar took more than half of my check. $2200 to be exact. The payment is still in pending status but there's no option to cancel payment. I tried filing a dispute in the resolution center but it wouldn't except it giving error "I can't file a dispute on that kind of payment". Please is there any loop holes to stop this transaction while it's still in pending status? PLEASE HELP!

Has anyone else in this group received the direct deposit from IRS for their stimulus? According to the IRS website I should have received my deposit yesterday and I didn't get it I contacted the message center and agent said it should be deposited by midnight last night and it was not anyone else having issues?
