Sender getting error code 14764

Hi! My sender from Singapore would get error code 14764. I am able to accept money from people in Japan. All my cards and banks are confirmed. My sender has contacted Paypal Singapore and they told them that there’s no issue on their account, but when I called Paypal Japan, they told me that it’s the sender’s account who has issues. This hasn’t been resolved since February 2023.

Sorry to hear about the sender not able to send money to your PayPal account. Every time you try to make a payment from your PayPal account it goes through a series of filters to determine how much potential risk may be involved. If the system deems any risk, the system may decline the payment from going through. Please ask the sender if they have verified their PayPal account to initiate the transactions. If the sender's account is already verified and no pending issues, ask them to try again at a later date by clearing cache and cookies from the internet browser or try to use a different internet browser/device. Also, there are certain transactions that PayPal cannot process, please ask the sender to try to complete the payment with a different payment method.
