Send money to wrong person same name

Hi Everyone I’m Tom sending money to wrong person Same name but different Emai Fund from personal bank PayPal and bank Refuse to help that person Emai Please advise Tom

Unfortunately, if payment was friends and family, you must ask recipient to issue refund and at the mercy of their better nature to do so. There’s no buyer protection with friends and family payments.

PayPal always give you opportunity to double check payment info before sending.

Here's how to refund a payment:

1. Click the Activity tab at the top of the page.
2. Click All Transactions.
3. Select the payment you want to refund.
4. Click Issue a refund.
5. Under "Total Refund Amount," enter the amount you want to refund. You may have the option to refund a partial amount of the payment.
6. Click Issue Refund. You'll be directed to a page confirming that your refund has been sent.
