Yes I I orders something with ideal on a website but it said that it couldn’t complete the payment and i needed to return to the merchant but I already payed I would like to get a refund

What does it say next to the transaction in your paypal account?

I understand that the payment did not go through and you're expecting a refund. I would recommend you log in to your account, check the status of the payment. If the payment is completed, please reach out to the merchant and request a refund. If they refuse to refund, please file a dispute in your resolution center. If the transaction shows as pending on the activity page, you can try canceling the payment by following a few steps that are mentioned in this help center article. Please note that if there are any issues with the transaction, the amount will be automatically reverted back to the original payment method.
