Paypal banned kazakhstani cards

Hi! Yesterday Paypal cancelled the withdraw of money to cards of Kazakhstani banks.

I've asked friends from Kazakhstan, they also as me have not withdrawn money from PayPal to Kazakhstani cards since June 27, 2023.

What is going on? They have citizenship of Kazakhstan and are located in Kazakhstan.

We demand clarification from Paypal about the violation of our rights.

You need to contact customer services to resolve any account specific issues.

However Paypal varies a lot country to country and can only offer the services that the banks / governments of that country allow it to offer.
So if its a change and not a glitch then I doubt your 'demands' will make any difference so lets hope its a glitch.

Same issue with the Georgian cards.. Are you sure it’s a ban and not a glitch? I feel like if it would be a ban, they’d notify.

No idea if its a ban or a glitch, only customer services can confirm or deny.

I’ve talked to the agent over phone. No reference or anything about the ban. All she said was “technical team is working on it, I can’t give you timeframe”

thank you, dear friends, paypal said it was the technical error and support fixed it within 3 days!
