I understand your concern about your funds debited for unsuccessful payment. When you attempt to make a payment, the amount can be temporarily charged to your bank/card. As you mentioned that the payment wasn't successful and the transaction has disappeared from your PayPal Activity, this would mean that the authorization expired. Therefore, you will not be charged for this order. Any funds placed on hold in your bank towards this temporary authorization will simply be removed, and the funds would be returned to your available balance in few days. If you don't see any reversal, please reach out to our team through the available contact options at the bottom of PayPal page to get this checked further.

I'm sorry to hear you're still running into issues with this payment. It sounds like you may have checked out as a guest on PayPal instead of with your PayPal account info.
In this case, I would recommend reaching out to our Customer Support teams for further support. They should be able to review what options may be available.
