I requested money but no fee was taken out of the money I received. Do I owe PayPal now?

I sent a request (is a request the same as an invoice?) and received the money, but it appears no fee was taken out. So do I owe PayPal its 3%? If so, how do I pay it? There was no option for me to select "Goods and Services". I just assumed the fee would be automatically removed from the money remitted.

Hi @Thamnophis,
Thank you for your post!
I do understand your concern with this. It sounds like the payment you received was sent as Friends and Family.
There are no fees charged to receive Friends and Family payments. You can check the payment type in your PayPal Activity page.
If the payment you received was for an item/service you are providing, I would suggest you refund it and request the buyer to send it again as Goods and Service. There is no Seller Protection for Friends and Family payments.
I hope this helps!
