Was it a refund or a sent payment?
If it was a refund then....
If you funded the original Paypal payment to the seller from your bank account or a card then once marked refunded/completed it will automatically go back to that bank account or card.
Normally it can take a few days up to a week to go back to a bank account and a bit longer for a card, Paypal say allow 30 days for a card (1 billing cycle) but its rarely that long.
(Can vary according to country though).

I have gone back to account 10 days after receiving the refund mail.. there is no trace of the refund being credited yet...+

On 31 March 2022, I received the ionic refund mail from Paypal asking me to verify my account which i did the same day. Paypal confirmed account verification on email. Post that I didn't receive the refund. Waited for a month and decided to reach out to Paypal. Called them up and the person on the line told me that since my account was not verified, they returned the money to Fitbit. When I told him that I had verified my account on the same day, he told me that since my account was not verified on the day the refund came to Paypal, they had to return the money back to Fitbit. I asked him to send this on email which he did. But in the email, it is mentioned that the money was sent back at the end of April 22 whereas the account was verified on 31 March 22. Clearly, a goof-up at Paypal or they sat on the money for a month and sent it back without really bothering to check if someone had actually verified his / her account. Shameful, really.
Further, called up fitbit on the number they have given on their recall website, the person on the other side confirmed that they had got the amount back. Have requested them to resend it which they promised to do. Only catch is - it will take another 30 days.
Suggest those who haven't received the refund thru paypal, reach out to fitbit to check if the money has gone back to them. Ask them to reinitiate the refund if they have received the money back. Make sure your account is verified beforehand if you are getting it thru Paypal.
